Grow What and When

Many people think the spring is the only time to garden and in many areas that is the case, they get one growing season. We're lucky being in the Houston area that we can have something growing in the garden all year round. Some plants like cooler weather and some like it hot. The back of a seed packet will usually tell you about the right time to plant that item. I've found these charts from the local agricultural institutions to be really helpful in deciding exactly when and what to plant around here.
